Since 2001, North Central Health Care Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing health care throughout Melfort and the surrounding communities by raising funds for essential equipment, programs, and initiatives that improve patient care.

Today, the Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and led by a part-time Executive Director who works alongside donors, health care leaders, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen local health care. This collaborative approach ensures the Foundation can continue to grow its impact while remaining accountable to the communities it serves.

Working closely with local health care facilities and care teams, the Foundation identifies priority needs and directs donor dollars where they will make the greatest difference. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations, and community organizations, we help fund projects that enhance patient care, improve access to services, and support innovation across the continuum of care.

Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has invested millions of dollars into health care initiatives throughout our region. These investments have supported major projects such as Parkland Place furnishing, medical imaging, emergency transport, pediatric trauma care, and countless other initiatives that have improved the health and well-being of our communities.
